For heating, the system operates in temperatures ranging from 5°F to 75°F and includes a built-in base pan heater and crankcase heater to enhance cold-weather stability. This ensures dependable warmth and year-round comfort.

The system features smart, on-demand defrost technology that activates only when real frost is detected, reducing unnecessary cycles and improving overall efficiency. During defrost operation, comfort defrost functionality blocks cold airflow to maintain steady indoor temperatures and prevent cold drafts. In addition, the base pan is designed with multiple drain holes to quickly disperse condensate, helping to prevent ice buildup in extreme low-temperature conditions. Please note that the drain cap and drainpipe holes are optional accessories and are not included as standard.
